Who am I?
As a person who grew up experiencing and discovering the ugly aspects of the world we live in, I became highly interested in fictional concepts rooted in fantasy. What was once utilized as a tool to escape my surroundings in exchange for more favorable ones quickly came to have a more pivotal impact on my life then I ever initially planned. As I would gradually become more interested in artistic creation, my creations would soon come to mirror these fictional worlds I held so dear. Rather it be inspired by television, manga, or video games, art has always been a tool that I’ve utilized to create my own personal sense of fantasy while also conveying any type of message.
The various aspects of life that we experience, the choices we make, and the way we think all have an influence on the journey’s outcome. Once incorporated with my view on artistic creation, I came to realize that the final message I intend to convey through my art can be interpreted in an infinite number of ways due to the way we all experienced life’s journey in different ways. Thus, I have grown to feel that my art essentially knows no bounds.
I’ve gravitated from being an artist that recreated art from the artists that I held deep admiration for, to an artist who can bring my own personal vision and aesthetic into fruition. This artistic vision that I’ve come to utilize the most is retro-futurism, drawing heavy influence from fictional worlds rooted in sci-fi.
